Reunion Update

Well, We had our Family reunion. It went pretty well. At the reunion my sister and I sat and talked about ways to improve it for next year. We noticed that this year it was just alot of sitting around and eating. Which is fine but, can be boring for some of the younger people. We need to get the younger people active so one day they can help plan the reunion and keep it going.

So..we had some ideas and I thought I would share them with you all just in case you have a event to plan or go to this summer. Let me know what ya think and if you have any other ideas.
1.Door prizes-We thought we would come up with three things before hand and put them in an envelope. for instance Someone wearing blue stripes would win a prize or someone who has their hair in pigtails would win a prize. Just anything really.

2. games-like guess how many penny's are in a jar or jelly beans in a jar.
(by the way, some of these are simple because we have lots of older people at our family reunion so some games to include everyone.)

3.Three legged race

I can't remember them all now...should of took notes.

We play a lot of cards at our family reunions because the older folks like that. But it's not boring because they trash talk when they're playing. Not suggesting that for your family; just works for mine
