About me

Hatched & raised locally, with a brief, but glorious stint in Chicago. Someone please ship me back there. I'm a web designer at the Dayton Daily News, a metal sculptor, an audiophile, a treehuggin' nature nut, a long suffering Bengals fan, and a big kid with a driver's license. I'm a dad to 2 pre-teens clawing their way out of the nest. They used to think I was cool, then jr. high came along and in 1 week I became a dork.

Sex: Male
Location: Kettering, OH
Last login: 3 months ago
Birthday: March 31, 1965
Orientation: Straight
Status: In a Relationship
Education: Some college
Interests: Outside of the shear joy I experience from being a working stiff, I'm into metal sculpting. I've been creating sculpture since '99 and keep pretty busy with it. check out my site: www.jimoser.com I'm also pretty motivated by music, not that I can play anything or sing, but I can appreciate those who can. If you're into emerging music or jam bands I highly recommend checking into the Bonnaroo Music Festival, held annually in June. see: www.bonnaroo.com
Movies: Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, American Beauty, Snatch, Saving Private Ryan, Wedding Crasher, Old School, There's Something About Mary, Spanglish, Happy Gilmore
Music: Beck, Los Lobos, Ben Folds, Black Keys, Mofro, DMB, David Gray, Drive-By Truckers, Donna the Buffalo, Tom Petty, Spoon, GLove, Wilco, RHCP, Pete Yorn, John Hiatt, Jack Johnson, Elvis Costello, Ray Lamontagne, Cake. Pretty much all over the place, musically.
Television: Don't have cable, so most network TV sucks, with the exception of: The Office, Scrubs, NFL Football. Reality TV is the dumbest thing since the pet rock, when in God's name will it end?
Books: hmmm, I remember books, but now I just them to fill bookshelves and shore up the couch. Actually I've had to crack a few books lately, but they've been my daughter's textbooks. Did you know that they teach math completely differently now? Nothing makes me feel dumber than trying [unsuccessfully] to understand 8th grade math. I prefer magazines, primarily Smithsonian, National Geographic or Rolling Stone.
