Skipping Class = Humiliation

Posted 23rd October 2007, lunch time

Things have been hectic these past few days.

Thankfully, I didn't have either of my morning classes. I was trying to get all my work done before my noon class, but was unsuccessful. So I decided to skip.

As I sat at my computer working, I noticed that it was about time for class to start. That's when Victor texts me. He's in the class with me. He wants to know where I am. As I'm texting him back, debating about what to say, I get a phone call from him saying I'm on speaker phone in the class. Great. And the professor is yelling out, asking me why I'm not in class. I should have lied. But I told him the truth, "I'm writing a paper for philosophy."

I mean, I just didn't feel like sitting in class today when I knew I had a million other things going on that were more important.

Now my professor made me feel guilty. No other student gets a phone call from the class when they skip! Just me.

Just. Me.

lol, jen, the only solution to this is to NOT SKIP CLASS! skipping class will get you nowhere in life. i think i am going to try calling someone next time they skip class. that would be amazing!
