sick again

i hate being sick. i went to the doctor with my mom yesterday and got some antibiotics though. i think i forgot to tell you guys but she got out of the hospital a few days ago. she's pretty much 100% back to normal now, other than the fact that she can't see as well out of her left side. i mean she can see out of her left eye, but she lost her peripheral vision on that side so anything out of the corner of her eye or off to the side or anything she doesn't see. so she ended up falling and spraining her ankle 2 days ago. so yesterday i took her to the doctor so she could follow up with him with her stroke and everything and so he could look at her ankle. he had her get an x-ray of it and she told me they said it wasn't broken or anything so she just needs to stay off of it for a while. and soon she's supposed to start her rehab program where she'd go back to the hospital 2 or 3 days a week and they would work with her and try and get her sight back to normal, and if they can't then teach her how to get around without bumping into things.

anyway while she was at the doctor i asked him if he could give me anything because i've had an ear infection for about 3 months now that i haven't been able to get rid of except once for maybe 3 or 4 days, and that was when i was on the stuff he gave me the last time i went. so now he gave me the same kind of antibiotics they give people that are in the hospital with pneumonia or something like that. i guess i've built up a resistance to everything else. so hopefully this will work. he only had enough for the first 2 days with him yesterday though so i had to go back today and pick up the rest of it for the other 8 days i'm supposed to take it. and then in 2 weeks i have to go back so he can make sure it's working.

other things that happened today:

i got my copy of all the paperwork and everything from the municipal court, so most likely my old boss with be getting his copy soon if he hasn't already. court date is set for may 1st. i also got something from kings island letting me know that they deposited $30.54 i think it said into my bank account from the 5 hours i had the orientation last week. so i was pretty happy about that. i mean i know it's not that much but i'm happy to get anything at this point. and my little sister got home from arizona today. she actually got home last night but she stayed with one of my aunts that she went with and then she came home this afternoon. i think that's all i have to say... other than complaining about the stupid weather. but i've been doing that all day. so i think i'm done.

Yeah man, the worst is almost over. Mom sounds like she's on the rebound and you're making money. Sorry to hear that you're down with the sickness. Ears, eyes, and (for me) teeth are the worst things to have hurt. It seems like everyone I know has been sniffling and coughing for months now so I'm packin' plenty of vitamin C these days. Just take it easy bud.

Glad to hear your mom is doing better. Hope you start feeling better soon. Just hang in there. Summer is around the corner and all the sniffling will be a thing in the past.

I'm glad your mom got out of the hospital...that sucks about you being sick now! I hope you get better soon...and hopefully this weather will get warmer...that always helps me feel better.

Wow, it's been so bad for you guys I guess it can't do much but get better, eh. I will pray that both you and your mom will recover quickly and completely and that things will begin to look up in every way.
